A Day in my LIfe
Happy September!
The past few weeks have been a crazy whirlwind for us – school, hockey, volleyball, hot lunch duty, etc..!
My gang is all out and about doing fun friend stuff today, so it’s a perfect time to say hello.
I’ve missed you all!
Here’s what I’ve been up to – ministry, family, and marriage!
Ministry Updates
Next week is a HUGE week, and I would super love your prayers. Pretty please?
We will be filming the video teaching portions of Red Hot Faith in front of a live audience. Yikes!
You may remember, last year I had the chance to visit Turkey to film some of the Bible teachings on site in Ancient Laodicea, Colosse, & Hierapolis.
Next week, Monday through Wednesday I’ll be working with the video team to film 7 sessions in front of a beautiful group of women. I’m super excited, terrified and humbled all wrapped up into one. Will you please join me in prayer? Please?
Here’s how you can pray –
– Pray for recall as I seek to memorize 7 scripts/full teachings
– Pray against fear, doubt, & the lies of the enemy; and that I would walk about in Truth, freedom, fresh power, & His strength
– Pray for the beautiful audience members. May they each leave with a fresh Word!
– Pray for my health (and my family’s health) – especially that I would not lose my voice!
– Pray for all the technical stuff. The RBC team is bringing 5 cameras to use as they film the sessions. May they too be blessed by the teachings.
– Pray for the hearts of the women who will one day hear these messages. Woo Hoo! 🙂
I promise to post lots of behind-the-scenes pictures next week, as well as on my FB ministry page here. I can’t wait to see what God has planned (if only I stay out of His way! Geesh!)
We will be meeting at the Mosaic Space in Grand Rapids, MI. I had the chance to sit in on two Zondervan tapings (Max Lucado’s & Carol Kent’s) at this same location. Family
This school year I have a 4th grader, 5th grader, 6th grader, & a Sophmore in college. Wow!
Although the transition for my eldest son Jake to leave for college was extremely hard (Jake was home this summer, and is living off campus again this year) – I’m transitioning ok these days. I haven’t melted down on my bathroom floor yet this fall. Whew!

Lastly, I’m so in love with my man I can barely stand it!
If you’re in a hard place in your marriage (like we have been – recap here!), please keep praying and don’t give up.
God is a Master Restorer and Rebuilder! Keep praying, surround yourself with Godly women to encourage you, and get sound Biblical counsel (if needed). Your marriage is so worth it!
If God can do it for us, He can do it for you!
