This weekend I’ll be heading from my home in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Chattanooga, TN!
I’ll be sharing at a Women’s Tea being held at Chattanooga’s Terra Vista Baptist Church. I can’t wait to see what God has planned! 🙂
I’ll be speaking on how to live with “Red Hot Faith“. Woo Hoo! If you’ve spent any time here at *She Sparkles*, you know I’m pretty passionate about this topic!
I get so discouraged by the media, the culture, the world…that has embraced “lukewarm living” as the new norm. I want to live Red Hot!! Not that I have this perfect, by any means. Trust me.
In fact, here’s a quick story when I allowed “the disease to please” to get in the way of living with Red Hot Faith…
Jesus says, “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” (John 10:10 AMP)
I want that life!! Anyone else??! 🙂
How do you pursue Truth in your daily life? How do you keep from allowing the “disease to please” to impact you and your daily decisions??
How do you keep your faith burning “Red Hot”??? I would love to hear from you!
Thanks so much for stopping by *She Sparkles*!
Have a joy-filled, Truth-full, lifegiving week! God’s richest blessings to you!
P.S. Would you mind taking a minute and praying for this event? I’ll be sharing the Gospel on Saturday evening. May the Lord move in such a way that hearts and lives are changed for His purpose and glory alone! 🙂
Praying for you, Cindy! I love the salsa story! I keep my Red-Hot Faith by being in God’s Word and asking him to help me fight against my fleshly desires and choose godly ways.
How exciting Cindy! Praying for your event and safe travels.
Cindy, thank you so much for sharing this story. I’ve tried so hard to fit in in so many venues in my life that I passed it off pretty well until realizing I didn’t know who I was because I had conformed so much. What a process to unravel that mess! Being in God’s word and seeking His truth is the only thing, along with prayer and authentic relationships, that keeps me from entering that trap. The authentic words you share will give hope and courage to each women who hears you share this salsa story. Praying for you as you travel to TN!
Ohhh, CB,
You are getting pretty close to my neck of the woods! Very fun.
